UV printing allows us to print a photo or portrait directly onto a cremation urn with stunning clarity and detail. The process involves using ultraviolet (UV) light to cure (or harden) specially formulated inks as they are printed. Here's how it works:
Surface Preparation: The urn surface is carefully prepared to ensure a smooth and clean area for printing.
Digital Image Setup: The photo or portrait you provide is converted into a digital file. We crop and adjust the image for size, color, and clarity, making sure it fits the designated space on the urn. We of course allow you to see a mock up before we print on the urn.
UV Printing Process: The digital image is printed directly onto the urn using UV printers. These printers apply the ink onto the surface, and as the ink is laid down, it’s immediately cured with UV light. This instant drying ensures the image is vibrant, durable, and resistant to fading or scratching.
Final Touch: After printing, the urn is inspected to ensure the image is perfectly clear and accurate. The result is a high-quality, photo-realistic image that is permanent and weather-resistant.
UV printing is ideal for adding personalized touches like photos, making the urn a truly special memorial piece
