Great question! The MacKenzie urn company has actually had one displayed outdoors for nearly 20 years. I see it every time I visit, which is about once a year. While these urns aren’t specifically designed for outdoor use, they do hold up structurally. However, it’s important to note that the clear coat isn’t UV-resistant, so over time, exposure to the elements will cause the finish to fade and weather. That said, the urn itself won’t break down — it’s made to withstand burial conditions, including ground water.
I hope this answers your question! If you’d like to discuss further, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
